Thence UX Design Model
KaiXen - Performance-based, Progressive UX Design Model
Progressive Improvement of User Experience
Inspired by Kaizen, the Japanese Continuous Improvement Model, KaiXen by Thence is performance-based UX design focusing on progressive improvement of User Experience.
KaiXen’s continuous improvement model working hand-in-hand with AuditX (continuous measurement model), benchmarks and sets targets on UX KPIs and deploys solutions to meet these targets on a progressive basis.
KaiXen – User Centric Solution that delivers results beyond set targets
Built around the users of the product or service KaiXen enables definite design decision-making by revolving all UX components around the user – therefore a user-centric solution in its truest sense.
To deliver results beyond set targets, KaiXen, follows the full-scale design cycle:
The primary step in implementing KaiXen is building the dedicated User Pool for ensuring the research and validation is an active component of the solution.
This is followed by understanding the right KPIs considering the business objectives and benchmarking the KPIs basis industry and current product performance.
Post this, research comes into play to uncover insights and provide a roadmap for the consequent design and testing stages.
Design leverages the insights from research to implement solutions that will meet the KPI levels intended. In order to ensure that research insights have been effectively translated into design outputs, a validation stage ensures that the user pool vets and authenticates the intended solutions.
Post implementation, the product’s UX performance is evaluated against the KPIs over a defined time frame using AuditX, the continuous measurement program.
This progressive and cyclic approach enables KaiXen to be a powerful solution in ensuring the constant evolution of the User Experience, thus making products and services best-in-class.
